Personal Post: A look inside My Thanksgiving | Thoughts + Photos + Snapchat Story
Thanksgiving is low key one of my favorite holidays. Not only is it filled with amazing food, fall festivities, family, friends, and an indication that Christmas is around the corner but it is also a holiday that promotes the understanding that we should be so thankful for everything we have going on in our lives. Gratitude is something that often times, we don't acknowledge. It's so easy to go about life not looking at the little things that we should be so thankful for like the roof over our head, the food on the table, the family and friends we have, love, happiness, a job, the ability to go buy the food we want to cook, to go drive to the family that we have, and the friends that support us. So much of this is taken for granted, but on Thanksgiving you can really look around and be Thankful. I try to be thankful every day, and this holiday season I have so much to be thankful for.
(My Mom, My Nana, Me)
This Thanksgiving I started off Wednesday night with a mini friendsgiving night out (As seen in my snapchat story below). Then the next day on Thanksgiving , per usual, my mom and tom hosted while my Nana, My Mom, & I filled up the home with a ton of amazing food. Everything from Turkey, Stuffing, Macedonian Noodle Koogle, Sweet Potatoes & Marshmallows, Mac & Cheese, Stuffed Peppers, Cranberry Sauce, Tom made his amazing barbecue, am I missing something? Probably! For dessert my Nana always makes her fresh strawberry pudding cake, cheesecake, apple pie, and pumpkin pie. I also showed on snapchat how I make my fast & easy but homemade Mac & Cheese :)
